DiscovrTV Productions was created in 2019 by Julian von Plato and Thabo Rametsi with objective of

building an African Video Production and Distribution service.

Our Story

Specialising in the creation of short form and digital video content as well as one of SA’s premier Live Streaming platforms. The team has live streamed over 500 events both locally and internationally, from the worldwide superstar Black Coffee to the City of Johannesburg Arts Alive Festival and conferences.

DiscovrTV launched its studio in Johannesburg during the COVID pandemic which has become home to Tales from the Lounge - SA’s answer to the legendary Tiny Desk series.
